Disrupted sleep or variations of movement in a bed-ridden patient may indicate a change in health over time. In an older patient population, nocturnal restlessness may indicate a need to review pain management protocols, medications, toiletting and other environmental factors. However, sleep-related agitation is inherently difficult to observe without causing disruption to the subject being monitored.
The 9"x 35" Tactex BEDsensor Data™ uses advanced Kinotex® technology to create a discreet, highly sensitive, under-mattress sensor system for conducting research into night-time respiration, sleep apneas and a variety of other clinical conditions. Unlike other products in the BEDsensor line, the BEDsensor Data™allows the end user to capture a full spectrum of un-calibrated data.
