How the BEDsensor Pro™ works...
The BEDsensor Pro™ pad is designed to be placed discreetly under the mattress of a patient or loved one who is at risk of falls or wandering. When a person exits their bed, the sensor recognizes the absence of pressure. A "bed unoccupied" signal is transmitted to either an alarm box or a nurse call system to alert the caregiver. When used in combination with an effective indicent response protocol, the BEDsensor Pro™ helps to ensure that assistance is on hand when it is needed most.
