Tactex

The Tactex Sensor Tile uses Kinotex RST technology to create a highly sensitive, fully-rigid sensor surface. Tiles can be used individually or placed side by side to create a network of sensors with a surface area that is tailored to the needs of the individual application.

• Proportional pressure data up to 200 lbs per tile
• Typical sampling rate of 20 samples per second with option to customize

Sample Application
The Tactex Floor Sensor combines 45 individual Sensor Tiles to create a complete pressure sensing walkway. With a total of 6480 individual sensing points, the Floor Sensor can gather comprehensive pressure data from across its entire 3'x 15' surface. A single power supply is used to power the entire Floor Sensor. Data is communicated to a host PC though on CAN-to-USB interface. DATA-logging software and an Application Programming Interface (API) for custom applications are provided.
