This advanced movement analysis sensor system combines Tactex’s proven BEDsensor Actigraphy™ technology with software that calculates up to five sleep statistics including:
- Sleep latency
- Number of awakenings
- Wake after sleep onset
- Sleep efficiency
- Total sleep time
How it works...
Tactex monitors quality of sleep using a thin, waterproof sensor pad that can be placed under a person's mattress. The sensor is completely unobtrusive and can gather a full spectrum of data on the bed-occupant's night-time movements without the need for any direct physical contact with the user. Data is logged automatically based on the first bed entry and the last bed exit of the night - meaning that no programming or manual activation is required. User-friendly software reports nightly activity and graphs sleep patterns so users can easily identify sleep vs wake and view in vs out of bed.
