How it works...
Tactex monitors quality of sleep using a thin, waterproof sensor pad. The sensor is placed under a person's mattress meaning that there is no direct physical contact with the user. As the bed-occupant moves, the pressure distribution on the sensor pad changes in proportion to the degree and type of movements made. Using a proprietary algorithm, combined with the standards set by the science of Actigraphy, the SLEEPsensing software interprets this movement datta to determine when sleep has occurred. The SLEEPsensing system logs data automatically based on the first bed entry and the last bed exit of the night. No programming or manual activation is required. User-friendly software reports nightly activity and graphs sleep patterns so users can easily identify sleep vs wake and view in vs out of bed.
